Science Teacher – Derby – January 2026

Are you a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher ready to take on a new role in a supportive and high-achieving school? A successful secondary school in Derby is looking for a Science Teacher from January 2026.

About the Role:
A full-time, permanent post teaching Science across KS3–KS4. Responsibilities include planning, assessment, curriculum development and involvement in STEM activities and enrichment.

The school prides itself on exceptional behaviour, academic ambition and strong pastoral systems. Their Science department is well-resourced with modern laboratories and experienced technicians.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a Science-related degree
• Holds QTS/PGCE
• Teaches Science confidently at KS3–KS4
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and strong subject knowledge
• Works collaboratively within a supportive faculty
