Maths Teacher (ECT) – Supportive Secondary School – Essex

A welcoming and well-structured secondary school in Essex is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher (ECT) to join their department on a full-time, permanent basis from January. This role offers an excellent start for an Early Career Teacher, with strong mentoring and a clear induction programme.

Job Overview

You will be responsible for:
• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 under the guidance of an experienced team
• Delivering engaging lessons that build confidence, fluency, and problem-solving skills
• Planning well-structured lessons with access to shared resources and schemes of work
• Assessing student progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
• Maintaining positive behaviour and strong classroom routines
• Taking part in professional development and ECT training sessions
• Contributing to departmental planning and enrichment activities
