The Opportunity & Role Profile

A leading independent school in Bath is seeking an experienced Science Technician. You will provide high-level technical support across all three sciences, with a focus on preparing complex practicals for A-Level and GCSE students in state-of-the-art laboratories.

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Technical Preparation: Setting up advanced apparatus for Chemistry, Physics, and Biology practicals and managing chemical stock in line with CLEAPSS.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Carrying out routine repairs and annual safety checks on scientific equipment.

  • Team Support: Assisting teaching staff with practical demonstrations and supervising junior technician staff.
