SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary SEN

Location: Harrow, North West London
Start Date: After the holidays

We are recruiting a caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive primary school in Harrow after the holidays.

The Role

You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties and emotional needs. The role may involve 1:1 support or small group work, helping pupils remain focused and confident throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored SEN support in the classroom

  • Support behaviour and emotional regulation

  • Assist with lesson activities and routines

  • Work closely with teachers and SEN staff

This school has a strong inclusive ethos and an experienced SEN team. Staff are supported with guidance and ongoing training.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with SEN

  • Calm, patient and nurturing approach

  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
