SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary SEN

Location: Greenford, West London
Start Date: After the holidays

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Greenford that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across the school.

The Role

You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties and speech and language needs. The role may involve 1:1 support or small group interventions, helping pupils stay focused, confident and engaged in learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted SEN support within the classroom

  • Support pupils’ emotional and social development

  • Assist with differentiated lesson activities

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO

This primary school has a strong inclusive ethos and a supportive leadership team. SEN staff are valued and given guidance and training where required.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with SEN

  • Patient, calm and nurturing approach

  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
