The Opportunity & Role Profile

A renowned Independent School seeks a skilled Science Technician specialising in Physics. You will provide high-level technical support for practical lessons up to A-Level, ensuring that sophisticated equipment is maintained and experiments are set up to the highest standards.

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Physics Specialism: Preparing advanced apparatus for mechanics, electricity, and optics practicals, including the calibration of sensitive sensors.

  • Safety & Maintenance: Adhering strictly to CLEAPSS guidelines and performing regular PAT testing and safety checks on lab equipment.

  • Inventory Control: Managing the Physics department stock and assisting with the procurement of new scientific resources.
