A well-established Independent School in Derby is seeking a talented Design & Technology Teacher to join their highly regarded DT faculty from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in an academically ambitious and technically well-resourced environment.
About the Role:
This full-time, permanent position includes teaching DT across KS3–KS4, maintaining safe workshop environments, delivering practical skills teaching and contributing to design projects and enrichment activities.

The school is known for excellent behaviour, high academic standards and state-of-the-art DT facilities, including 3D printers, laser cutters, CAD software and specialist machinery.
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a DT/Engineering-related degree
• Holds QTS/PGCE
• Can teach DT confidently across KS3–KS4
• Is practical, innovative and well organised
• Collaborates well within a thriving DT team
