A respected independent school in St Albans is seeking an English Teacher to join its flourishing department from January 2026.

Job Overview

This co-educational independent school is recognised for its strong academic outcomes, supportive culture and rich co-curricular programme. The successful English Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across KS3–KS5, working with motivated pupils who demonstrate genuine curiosity, strong literacy skills and excellent classroom behaviour.

English is a highly regarded subject within the school, with excellent uptake at GCSE and A Level. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to enrichment such as debating, creative writing, theatre trips and literary societies.
