An inclusive and supportive secondary school in Cambridge is seeking a Religious Studies ECT to join its Humanities team.

Job Overview

The successful RS ECT will teach KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons that encourage ethical debate, philosophical enquiry and critical thinking. The department provides shared planning, structured mentoring and clear guidance throughout the ECT induction period.

This 11–18 school is known for its respectful culture, strong behaviour systems and commitment to staff development. The Humanities faculty is well organised and highly supportive of early career teachers.

RS ECT – Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Religious Studies or related subject
• QTS (ECTs encouraged)
• Strong KS3–KS4 subject knowledge
• Reflective and enthusiastic approach
• Legal right to work in the UK
