DT Teacher – Derby

Are you an enthusiastic Design & Technology ECT ready for an exciting teaching role? A high-performing school in Derby is seeking a DT Teacher to join their forward-thinking department from January 2026.

About the Role:
A full-time KS3–KS4 DT role including practical workshop teaching, project-based learning and curriculum planning.

About the School:
The school has excellent behaviour, a collaborative DT department and well-resourced workshops with specialist machinery.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a DT/Engineering degree
• Holds QTS/PGCE or is completing ECT training
• Can teach DT effectively at KS3–KS4
• Is creative, proactive and committed to improvement
