The Opportunity & School Profile

We are looking for an inspiring English Teacher to join a vibrant Humanities faculty. This position is ideal for a specialist who is passionate about canonical and contemporary literature and is dedicated to honing the sophisticated writing and analytical skills of high-achieving pupils up to A-Level.

Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

  • Literary Exploration: Instructing English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level.

  • Critical Analysis: Guiding students in the development of complex essay-writing techniques and deep textual interpretation.

  • Extracurricular Enrichment: Contributing to the school’s literary societies, debating clubs, or creative writing workshops.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Degree in English and QTS. A strong track record of success at Key Stage 5 is required.
