The Opportunity & Role Profile
A prestigious Independent School in Bath seeks a creative and technically-minded Performing Arts Technician. Supporting the Drama and Music departments, you will be responsible for the technical execution of school productions, concerts, and daily classroom technology requirements.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
Production Support: Designing and operating sound and lighting systems for large-scale performances and school events in the school theatre.
Equipment Care: Maintaining, repairing, and managing the inventory of all AV equipment, musical instruments, and stage props.
Classroom Assistance: Setting up technical equipment for practical lessons and assisting students with the use of recording and editing software.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Professional experience in theatre technology, sound engineering, or live events. Familiarity with digital lighting desks and sound boards is essential.
Salary: Highly competitive salary paid on the school's independent pay scale (expected to be £26,000 - £33,000 per annum).
