An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Bristol. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January or by agreement, suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs looking to develop within a supportive science department.
Job Overview
You will be responsible for:
• Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience
• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Supporting students in developing strong practical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Delivering and overseeing practical experiments in line with health and safety requirements
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress to inform future planning
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour, engagement, and academic expectation
• Contributing to departmental planning and the wider science curriculum
