The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally. You will work alongside teachers and SEN staff to provide structured, consistent support that enables pupils to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting SEN pupils in class and in small groups
Providing emotional and behavioural support
Assisting with differentiated learning tasks
Encouraging independence and confidence
Supporting positive behaviour strategies
Working closely with teaching staff and SENCO
Ideal Candidate
SEN or primary school experience
Patient, proactive and adaptable
Strong communication skills
Passion for supporting vulnerable learners
