Attendance Officer – Derbyshire – January 2026
A successful and inclusive secondary school in Derbyshire is looking to appoint a dedicated Attendance Officer to support student engagement and safeguarding from January 2026.
The Role
You will take responsibility for monitoring daily attendance, following up absences, liaising with families, and working closely with Heads of Year and pastoral teams. Early intervention is a key focus, and you’ll play a vital role in identifying patterns and supporting improved outcomes for students.
The role involves regular communication with parents, maintaining accurate attendance records, producing reports, and supporting attendance meetings.
