Drama Teacher (ECT) – Market Harborough, Leicestershire – January 2026

A creative and forward-thinking secondary school in Market Harborough is seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher (ECT) to join its Performing Arts department from January 2026.

The Role

You will teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence, creativity and performance skills. Drama is a popular subject within the school, supported by a strong extracurricular programme including productions, workshops and performance evenings.

ECTs are encouraged to observe performances, co-direct productions and gradually take on leadership within the department as confidence grows.

The school is known for its inclusive ethos, positive student behaviour and strong support for creative subjects. Staff work closely together, and new teachers are warmly welcomed into the school community.
