Teacher of Design Technology – Independent School - Bury St Edmunds - January Start

We are supporting a well-established Independent school in the Bury St Edmunds area that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Design Technology from January. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a teacher seeking a well-resourced environment with high levels of student engagement.

The Role

You will teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4, with potential involvement at KS5 depending on experience. The department encourages a hands-on, project-based approach, enabling students to develop creativity, technical skill, and independent thinking.

You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, design clubs, and showcase events. Experience with Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, or CAD software would be advantageous.
