A highly respected independent day and boarding school in Warwickshire is seeking an exceptional Teacher of English to join its established and academically ambitious English department from January 2026.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time position teaching English across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level Literature and Language. The department is known for its strong examination outcomes, intellectual culture and commitment to developing confident, articulate thinkers. English is central to the school’s academic identity, with reading, discussion and writing embedded across the wider curriculum.

Lessons are taught in a seminar-style environment where students are encouraged to debate ideas, analyse texts in depth and develop their own critical voice. Small class sizes allow teachers to know their pupils exceptionally well and tailor learning accordingly.
