Maths Teacher (ECT) – Chesterfield, Derbyshire – January 2026

A well-established 11–18 school in Chesterfield is seeking a committed Maths Teacher (ECT) to join its successful Maths department from January 2026.

The Role

You’ll teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, working within a department that prioritises clarity, consistency and student confidence. Schemes of work are carefully sequenced, and ECTs are supported through shared planning and model lessons.

The department has a strong culture of collaboration, with regular time allocated for discussing pedagogy, assessment and student progress.

The school is known for its respectful learning environment and strong leadership. Ofsted highlights the school’s focus on staff development and well-managed behaviour systems.
