About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Mathematics to begin their teaching career in a supportive and well-established Maths department. This role is ideal for an ECT seeking strong mentoring, high-quality professional development, and the chance to develop outstanding classroom practice.

You will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to gain experience at KS5 as your confidence and expertise grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Develop students’ fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills

  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

  • Work closely with an assigned ECT mentor and experienced colleagues

  • Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative practice

About You

  • Degree in Mathematics or a related subject

  • QTS (or on track to achieve QTS)

  • Passion for Maths and high-quality teaching

  • Reflective, motivated, and eager to develop as a teacher
