SEN TA - Tower Hamlets

Are you an experienced and empathetic SEN TA seeking a meaningful role from January 2026? A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN TA to support pupils with additional learning and emotional needs.

This SEN TA position in Tower Hamlets will commence January 2026, with a thorough induction and handover arranged before January 2026. The SEN TA will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis, supporting academic progress, emotional wellbeing and positive engagement in learning.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Provide consistent support to pupils with SEND across the school day.

  • Implement personalised strategies to support learning and behaviour.

  • Assist with communication, social interaction and emotional development.

  • Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN leadership in Tower Hamlets.

Suitable applicants will have

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school or similar setting.

  • Patient, nurturing and resilient approach to support work.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Availability to commence January 2026 following induction before January 2026.
