A supportive primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a caring and proactive SEN TA to join their team from January 2026. Working across the school in Waltham Forest, the SEN TA will provide in-class and small-group support, help pupils access the curriculum and promote independence. The SEN TA will assist with implementing personalised strategies, supporting emotional regulation and encouraging positive learning behaviours. Responsibilities

• Provide targeted classroom and small-group support to pupils with SEND.

Person specification

• Experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting.

• Calm, patient and empathetic approach to learning support.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow guidance.

• Available to start January 2026, attend induction and be fully in post from January 2026.
