Maths Teacher – Data/Statistics Focus & Intervention Lead – Havering

A supportive secondary school in Havering is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher with a focus on Data, Statistics, and Intervention to join their faculty from January 2026.

·         Maths Teacher (Statistics/Intervention Lead) required from January 2026

·         Havering-based school committed to using data to drive targeted student progress.

·         Ideal for a teacher who is highly proficient in both theoretical and applied statistics and passionate about targeted small-group intervention.

You will teach Mathematics across KS3–KS5, with a focus on A-Level Statistics and leading the school's maths intervention programme for students not meeting expected progress. The role includes analysing student data and planning responsive learning.

Experience and Qualifications

  • QTS and a degree in Mathematics or a highly quantitative field (e.g., Statistics).

  • Proven experience teaching A-Level Statistics is essential.

  • Demonstrable success in planning and leading effective student interventions.

  • Commitment to promoting data literacy across the curriculum.
