Art Teacher – Independent School – Birmingham

Are you a creative and passionate Art Teacher looking to teach in an inspiring and forward-thinking Independent School? A prestigious Independent School in Birmingham is seeking an Art Teacher to join their thriving Arts faculty from January 2026. This role offers the chance to teach motivated learners in a beautifully resourced and creatively rich environment.

About the Role:
A full-time, permanent position teaching Art across KS3–KS4, with potential opportunities to support KS5. You will plan creative lessons, deliver high-quality teaching, support portfolio development and contribute to exhibitions, showcases and enrichment activities.

The school is celebrated for its artistic culture, exceptional behaviour and outstanding academic standards. Their Art facilities include modern studios, digital art suites and specialist equipment. Staff benefit from a collaborative environment, strong leadership and excellent CPD.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a degree in Art or Fine Arts
• Holds QTS/PGCE
• Can deliver engaging Art lessons at KS3–KS4
• Is creative, enthusiastic and committed to student success
• Works well within a collaborative Arts team
