DT Teacher – Derby
Are you a motivated and skilled Design & Technology Teacher seeking a new opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking school? A well-regarded secondary school in Derby is seeking a DT Teacher to join their thriving DT team from January 2026.
About the Role:
Full-time, permanent DT teaching post. You will deliver high-quality practical and theoretical lessons across KS3–KS4, support student design projects, and ensure a safe, well-managed workshop environment.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a degree in DT, Engineering or related subject
• Holds QTS/PGCE
• Can teach DT confidently at KS3–KS4
• Is enthusiastic, well-organised and committed
• Works effectively with a collaborative DT team
