DT Teacher – Leicester – January 2026

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic DT ECT seeking a great school to begin your career? A respected school in Leicester is recruiting a Design & Technology Teacher for January 2026.

About the Role:
Full-time, permanent role teaching DT at KS3–KS4. You will deliver practical lessons, support workshop safety, assess progress and contribute to departmental planning.

About the School:
The school is known for strong behaviour, a collaborative staff community and well-equipped DT workshops featuring specialist tools and modern equipment.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a DT/Engineering degree
• Holds QTS/PGCE or is completing ECT induction
• Can teach DT confidently at KS3–KS4
• Is creative, practical and motivated
