A creative and forward-thinking mixed secondary school in Croydon is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Art Technician to support their thriving Art & Design Department.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, equipment, and resources for lessons and GCSE projects.
• Maintain art classrooms, tools, stock, and specialist equipment.
• Support students with practical tasks, studio work, and coursework preparation.
• Assist with displays, exhibitions, and department organisation.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of materials and chemicals.

Requirements

• Background in Art or experience working in an art-based environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to support practical and creative tasks confidently.
