RE Teacher (ECT) – Redditch, Worcestershire – January 2026

A caring and inclusive secondary school in Redditch is looking to appoint a thoughtful and enthusiastic RE ECT from January 2026.

The Role

You will teach RE across KS3–KS4, delivering a curriculum focused on ethics, philosophy and world religions. The department promotes discussion, respectful debate and critical thinking, with clear scaffolding provided for new teachers.

ECT Support

  • Dedicated RE mentor with weekly meetings

  • Reduced timetable during induction

  • Joint planning and shared assessments

  • Support with behaviour routines and lesson pacing
