Are you a dedicated and innovative Design & Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a thriving secondary school? A high-performing school in Leicester is seeking a DT Teacher to join their strong and supportive DT department beginning January 2026.
About the Role:
This full-time, permanent position involves teaching DT at KS3–KS4, delivering practical and theoretical lessons, developing learning projects and contributing to the school’s STEM initiatives.

The school is recognised for excellent staff culture, exemplary behaviour and strong leadership. The DT department is well-equipped with specialist machinery, modern tools and excellent technician support. Staff enjoy regular CPD and collaborative curriculum development.
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a degree in DT, Engineering or a related subject
• Holds QTS/PGCE
• Can teach KS3–KS4 DT confidently
• Is practical, creative and student-focused
• Works well as part of a collaborative faculty
