Midday Meal Supervisor – Special Educational Needs School (Haringey, N15)

Hours: 11:45am – 1:30pm, Term Time Only
Salary: £15–£16 per hour

We are a supportive, well-equipped SEN school in Haringey looking to recruit a patient, nurturing and observant Midday Meal Supervisor to work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs. This role requires calm reliability, compassion, and good communication.

What your day will involve:

  • Guiding pupils through lunchtime routines with encouragement and sensitivity

  • Assisting with feeding, mobility or communication as appropriate

  • Supporting children one-to-one or in small groups to help develop social interaction and independence

  • Working in close partnership with teaching assistants and therapists

  • Maintaining accurate awareness of individual pupils’ needs, triggers and safety requirements

  • Creating a structured, positive lunchtime experience where each child feels understood and valued

Training is provided and we are committed to supporting the professional growth of all staff.
