Geography Teacher – Shrewsbury, Shropshire – January 2026

A successful and inclusive secondary school on the outskirts of Shrewsbury is seeking an energetic Teacher of Geography to join its thriving Humanities faculty from January 2026.

The Role

You will teach Geography across KS3–KS4, with the possibility of KS5 teaching depending on experience. The department places strong emphasis on:

  • Fieldwork (local rivers, rural settlements, urban redevelopment)

  • Retrieval-based learning

  • Clear sequencing of physical and human geography

The team shares high-quality resources and regularly collaborates on assessment and curriculum improvement.
