We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and motivated Science Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in Peterborough from January. You will deliver engaging and well-planned Science lessons across KS3–KS4, with potential opportunities to teach KS5 depending on your experience and specialism. Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in a Science subject

• PGCE / QTS

• Ability to teach KS3–KS4 Science (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom practice

• Confidence in delivering both theoretical and practical science, including safe use of equipment and adherence to health & safety guidelines

• Ability to plan differentiated lessons that support and challenge students of varying abilities

• Commitment to raising achievement and inspiring scientific thinking, curiosity and problem-solving

• A reflective and proactive approach to teaching, with a willingness to engage in continuous improvement and professional learning

Salary

Paid in line with MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
