We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in Colchester from January. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practitioner to teach Science across KS3–KS4, with the potential to deliver KS5 depending on specialism.

The successful candidate will join a high-performing Science department with modern laboratories, excellent technician support and a collaborative, forward-thinking team.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

  • PGCE / QTS

  • Experience teaching KS3–KS4; KS5 desirable

  • Strong practical science knowledge and lab understanding

  • Commitment to high expectations and student progress

Salary

Paid to scale in line with MPS/UPS.
