The Opportunity & School Profile

This Outstanding school seeks an ambitious MFL Teacher (Spanish & French Focus, ECT Support). The school offers dedicated mentoring within a highly collegiate department to support the development of strong teaching practice, cultivating strong communication skills in either Spanish or French at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

  • Linguistic Guide: Instructing MFL (Spanish & French focus) across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only.

  • Communication Coach: Cultivating strong oral fluency and written communication skills in the target language(s).

  • Cultural Correspondent: Contributing to the MFL department's cultural enrichment activities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in MFL (Spanish or French specialism).

  • Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS), reflecting Inner London weighting.
