Job Description:
Are you a passionate Maths ECT looking to develop your teaching career?
A supportive secondary school in Leeds is recruiting a full-time Maths ECT to join their Maths department from January 2026.


Location: Leeds
Start Date: January 2026 
Salary: Paid on the ECT scale as per national guidance

Your Role:
• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons appropriate for ECTs
• Develop reasoning and problem-solving skills in pupils
• Participate in departmental planning and assessment moderation
• Take part in whole-school initiatives and ECT training

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold QTS and be within their first two years of teaching (ECT)
• Have a passion for Maths education and student progress
• Be committed to developing their teaching skills
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
