A vibrant, outstanding co-educational secondary school in Manchester is seeking a PE ECT to join their energetic PE department from January.

About the School

The school benefits from excellent sports facilities, a wide extracurricular programme, and a strong culture of pastoral care. ECTs receive a highly structured induction and departmental mentorship.

The Role

• Teach PE across KS3–KS4.
• Support with extracurricular sports clubs and fixtures.
• Deliver engaging practical and theory lessons.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment.
• Attend team meetings and CPD sessions.
• Assist with whole-school events and enrichment.

Requirements

• Strong background in PE and sport science.
• Teacher training completed with ECT status.
• Good teamwork, communication, and planning skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and school expectations.
