A well-established grammar school in South Manchester is seeking a Maths ECT to join their vibrant Mathematics department from September.

About the School

The school boasts excellent academic results and a culture of high aspiration. With small class sizes and exceptional support structures, ECTs benefit from expert mentoring and a structured two-year induction.

The Role

• Teach Maths across KS3–KS4 with potential KS5 exposure.
• Deliver high-quality lessons supported by department schemes.
• Engage in assessment, marking, and data tracking.
• Attend team meetings and CPD sessions.
• Support with extracurricular Maths clubs.
• Participate in wider school duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Teacher training completed with ECT status.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and professional expectations.
