An outstanding mixed secondary school in York is seeking a motivated Science ECT to join their expanding department in September.

About the School

The Role

• Teach Science across KS3–KS4, with opportunities to specialise.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons supported by the ECT framework.
• Participate in departmental meetings and whole-school CPD.
• Support assessment and tracking of student progress.
• Contribute to extracurricular STEM activities.
• Engage in pastoral duties and form-time activities.

Requirements

• A degree in Science or related field.
• Eligibility for ECT induction.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional development.
