A well-established independent boys’ school in Greater Manchester is seeking a PE Teacher to join their dynamic sports department this January.

About the School

The school boasts excellent sports grounds, a modern fitness centre, and a strong tradition of competitive fixtures. Students enjoy a diverse co-curricular programme supported by a dedicated staff team.

The Role

• Teach PE across KS3–KS4.
• Lead practical lessons and contribute to GCSE PE.
• Coach extracurricular sports teams and attend fixtures.
• Support whole-school health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Assist with departmental planning and resources.
• Participate in meetings, CPD, and parent events.

Requirements

• Strong background in PE and school sport.
• Ability to coach at least one major sport.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and whole-school values.
