Job Description

A progressive and forward-thinking Camden school is seeking a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join their creative learning community. The school promotes modern teaching practices, cross-curricular learning, and strong pupil independence. Requirements

  • QTS and a strong understanding of KS1 developmental needs

  • Ability to deliver high-quality creative lessons

  • Skilled in phonics, early reading, and numeracy support

  • Confident in managing behaviour positively and proactively

  • Strong team player with good communication skills

Salary

£35,000 – £47,000 per annum

What the Job Entails

  • Delivering engaging lessons across all KS1 subjects

  • Planning creative thematic units of work

  • Supporting pupils academically and emotionally

  • Monitoring progress through assessment and feedback

  • Working with specialist staff (music, PE, SEND teams)

  • Creating a stimulating and welcoming learning environment

  • Participating in enrichment clubs or trips
