Job Description

A vibrant primary school in Hounslow is looking for a caring and consistent SEN TA to support a Nursery pupil with ASD who benefits from sensory breaks, predictable routines, and adult-guided activities. The role involves delivering 1:1 support, assisting with transitions, supporting early literacy and communication skills, and preparing simple sensory resources.

Key Skills

  • Calm, nurturing approach

  • Knowledge of ASD and sensory processing

  • Ability to keep the child engaged during tasks

  • Clear communication with parents and staff

  • Understanding of early years play approaches

Requirements

  • EYFS or SEN experience

  • Enhanced DBS

  • Safeguarding knowledge

  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive
