EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – Wembley, North West London

Salary: £90–£120 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start: Immediately or ASAP

Job Description

A warm and inclusive primary school in Wembley is seeking a committed EYFS SEN TA to support pupils with communication and developmental needs within their Reception class. You will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored activities, early intervention strategies, and 1:1 support for children with ASD and speech delays. The school offers ongoing coaching, supportive leadership, and excellent opportunities for progression.

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of EYFS framework

  • Ability to follow EHCP targets

  • Experience using PECs or visual timetables

  • Calm, caring, and patient approach

  • Strong communication and observational skills

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of SEN or EYFS experience

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Good spoken and written English
