Are you currently looking for a Science Technician opportunity in a high-performing, well-supported school?

Are you reliable, organised and confident working in a lab environment within an Outstanding School in St Albans?

Wayman Education is recruiting a Science Technician for a full-time January start in St Albans. You will assist in the smooth running of the Science department, preparing practical resources, maintaining equipment and ensuring safe laboratory practice across KS3 and KS4.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Previous experience in a school science environment or laboratory

  • Good understanding of apparatus setup and experiment preparation

  • Awareness of COSHH, HSE, and lab safety protocols

  • Ability to manage stock, maintain equipment and support practicals

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Salary

Paid in line with the school’s support staff salary scale.
