The Role

You’ll teach English across KS3–KS4, with the option to gradually take on KS5 once established. The department follows a well-sequenced curriculum built around high-quality texts, strong literacy routines and shared resources that provide ECTs with clarity and structure.

Lessons place emphasis on developing confident readers and articulate writers through purposeful modelling, guided practice and discussion.
