History Teacher – Tamworth, Staffordshire – January 2026
A successful, inclusive secondary school in Tamworth is looking to appoint an engaging Teacher of History from January 2026. This is a popular and oversubscribed school known for strong pastoral care, high expectations and a well-regarded Humanities faculty.
Department & Curriculum
You’ll teach KS3–KS4 History and may have the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience. The department delivers a structured, knowledge-rich curriculum rooted in enquiry questions, strong historical narratives and explicit teaching of disciplinary skills.
Regular trips include visits to local sites, museums and (where relevant) WW1/WW2 experiences.
