Job Overview

You will teach DT across KS3–KS5, delivering challenging and imaginative lessons that promote problem-solving, technical precision and creative thinking. The role involves guiding students through GCSE and A-Level coursework, supporting practical project development, introducing modern design technologies and contributing to extracurricular clubs and competitions.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with advanced tools, supporting ambitious design briefs and inspiring students to pursue engineering, architecture or creative design pathways.

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in DT, Engineering, Product Design or related field
• PGCE with QTS (or independent-sector equivalent)
• Strong CAD/CAM ability and confidence with tools, machinery and prototyping
• Experience supporting coursework and developing technical skills
• A passion for inspiring the next generation of designers and engineers
