An ambitious primary school in Westminster is seeking a reflective and skilled Year 4 Teacher to take up post from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality, knowledge-rich lessons, lead booster groups and support cross-phase projects. This Year 4 Teacher position in Westminster includes induction and pre-start planning before January 2026, with the Year 4 Teacher in post from January 2026.

• Year 4 Teacher required for a full-time lower KS2 role

• Year 4 Teacher to join an experienced KS2 phase and contribute to whole-school improvement

The Year 4 Teacher will use assessment to set clear next steps, create a purposeful classroom climate and work collaboratively with subject leads to raise standards across Westminster. The Year 4 Teacher will also contribute to enrichment activities and support pupils’ wider development.

Responsibilities

• Plan coherent Year 4 lessons that build vocabulary, knowledge and reasoning.

• Deliver focused interventions and monitor their impact on progress.

• Work with colleagues to moderate standards and develop curriculum resources across Westminster.

• Maintain strong home–school communication and support transition activities.

• Uphold high expectations for behaviour and learning.

Person specification

• Qualified Teacher Status with recent KS2 experience and strong Year 4 practice.

• Excellent planning, assessment and classroom-management skills.

• Collaborative, data-aware and ready to start January 2026 in Westminster.
