The school needs a specialist capable of inspiring technical excellence and delivering the full breadth of the DT curriculum up to Year 10.

Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

  • Innovation Leader: Instructing Design Technology (all disciplines) across Key Stage 3 and Year 10 (KS4).
  • Materials Maven: Driving high attainment by cultivating strong practical workshop skills and technical drawing.
  • Workshop Guide: Ensuring safe practice and contributing to the maintenance of workshop facilities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Relevant Degree in Design Technology and QTS. Proven experience teaching DT to GCSE level.
  • Salary: Paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS), commensurate with experience.
