Science Teacher – Independent School – Hertfordshire

We are seeking a dedicated, academically strong and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a leading Independent School in Hertfordshire from January. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated pupils across KS3–KS5 in a school known for academic excellence and exceptional pastoral care.

The successful candidate will contribute to the continued success of a high-performing Science department and participate in enrichment such as Olympiads, STEM clubs and academic societies.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in a Science discipline

  • PGCE/QTS

  • Ability to teach KS3–KS4 (KS5 strongly preferred)

  • Evidence of strong classroom practice and academic ambition

  • Ability to contribute to wider school life, enrichment and co-curricular activities
