A successful mixed secondary school in Sutton is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Technician to join their Science Faculty.

About the School

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials, equipment, and chemicals for practical lessons.

  • Ensure laboratories follow health & safety regulations, including risk assessments.

  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and maintenance of apparatus.

  • Provide in-class support during practical demonstrations.

  • Work closely with the Head of Science and teaching staff.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Science Technician or relevant laboratory experience.

  • Strong understanding of health & safety procedures.

  • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.

  • Science qualifications preferred but not essential.
